I saw one of my favorite stylists on "The Talk" today. Lloyd Boston. He spoke about the "classic" accessories a woman should have in her wardrobe. The main thing to remember is that classic pieces, including accessories never go out of style and is something you should reach for in your closet. The secret is to wear them so they look current. He suggests four items.

They go with everything and elongate the leg.
Don't just wear it with evening attire but also with a pair of jeans. Throw it on to look effortless. That is the key.
They do not need to be worn on the actual waist. Can be worn a little lower or on the hip.
As I suggested in a previous post, they are a staple of a woman's wardrobe whether they are real or faux. It doesn't matter. The modern way to wear them is to mix them with chains. Wear them with anything from a t-shirt to a formal ensemble.
