J Crew has an amazing way of combining and mixing things together in a way that would not occur to most people. It is all thanks to creative director Jenna Lyons. She has taken a what once was a conservative brand and has made it into a preppy cool and hip line. The idea is to mix patterns and color to make it your own style. One simple way to do this is with the shoes you elect to wear with your ensemble.
